Admissions - Information & Procedure

(i) Every applicant should fill only one application form online on website https://cetcell.mahacet.org/cap-_2025-26

(ii) Do not send the copy of the application form or any other documents by Post / courier or hand delivery to anyone including MCAER, Pune, Agriculture University or mahait.org.

(iii) After filling the application form on the website, the candidate should scan his / her signature, his / her passport-sized photograph and original copies of all the necessary documents and upload them on the website.

(iv) The online application form filling process does not require any fees. But, candidates not appeared for Maharashtra State common entrance test will have to pay Rs. 1000 (for reserved and handicapped Rs. 800/-) through online payment gateway. If candidates paid fee of reservation category for Maharashtra State common entrance test (MHT-CET 2025), but not fulfill the requirement of documents at the time of appilcation will have to pay Rs.200 through online payment gateway.

(v) Candidates desirous of seeking admission through Institute quota as well as minority quota at Institution level are also required to fill and submit their online application with uploading relevant document through website.

  1. Passed XII Std. (Science) in the 10+2 pattern from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) and English.
  2. Candidates who have not studied Biology shall be required to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by the respective university, except for Agricultural Engineering.
  3. Qualified in the Common Entrance Examination (MHT-CET/JEE) conducted by the Competent Authority during the academic year 2025–26 in PCM subjects.

Scholarships

Scholarship Schemes Available for Admitted Students

The institute provides all Government scholarship schemes to eligible candidates admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

  1. SC, ST, VJ/DT (NT-A), NT-B, NT-C, NT-D and SBC category students are eligible for 100% Tuition Fee Waiver.
  2. OBC, EWS and SEBC category students are eligible for a 50% Tuition Fee Waiver.
  3. Open Category students can avail a 50% Tuition Fee Waiver under the Economically Backward Class (EBC) Scheme, subject to eligibility.
  4. All scholarship schemes offered by the Government of Maharashtra for Minority students are available to eligible candidates.
